Dr. Mark Edison has treated children, teens, parents and individual adults in New York City for 19 years.
With children and teens his areas of practice include:
- Play therapy with children ages 3-12
- Talk therapy with teens
- Parenting support and skill-building
- Addressing learning disabilities, ADHD and substance use
With adults, Dr. Edison’s areas of practice include:
- Panic attacks, burnout and depression
- Career and work difficulties
- Relationship troubles
- Helping people cut down on their drinking or cannabis use without giving it up 100%
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Edison is an Instructor in Psychiatry at Mount Sinai Health System, where he teaches psychiatrists-in-training how to conduct psychotherapy.
He is a member of the American Psychological Association and the New York State Psychological Association.
Dr. Edison holds a Ph.D. from the City University of New York and a B.A. with honors from Yale University.
